The DKD calibration laboratory (German Calibration Service) of Hirschmann Laborgeräte was accredited by the PTB (Physikalisch Technische Bundesanstalt – the German national metrology institute) pursuant to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 to draw up certificates for volumetric measuring and liquid handling devices sent in for testing.
This enables us to offer an important service for your quality assurance. Both with regard to the decision in favour of Hirschmann Laborgeräte and usage over a long period of time, you can rely on the experience gained over decades by Hirschmann when calibrating your volumetric measuring devices. You can also select the scope of device testing and calibration to suit your needs.
DKD certification will be replaced by certification through the German national accreditation body, the Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle (DAkkS) in 2012. The Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle (DAkkS) is a signatory to the multilateral convention of the European Cooperation for Accreditation (EA) and the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) on mutual recognition of calibration certificates, so Hirschmann calibration certificates will continue to be recognised around the world.
The DAkkS calibration certificate documents the return to national standards for illustrating units with the International System of Units (SI). Consequently, the DAkkS calibration certificate serves as verification for test equipment monitoring pursuant to DIN EN ISO 9001, DIN EN ISO 13485 and DIN EN ISO / IEC 17025.
DAkkS certificate for devices sent in for examination
The DAkkS calibration certificate complies with national and international standards and is accepted worldwide.
The calibration laboratory of Hirschmann Laborgeräte is accredited by the DAkkS in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 to issue certificates for volumetric measuring and liquid handling devices.
The single quality certificate corresponds a calibration in accordance with the DIN EN ISO 8655 standard.
This standard specifies the maximum permissible random and systematic measurement deviations for the various liquid handling systems
The guidelines of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) require regular checking of the specified error limits.
USP single quality certificate for conformity-certified volume measuring devices for the quality laboratory.
The measuring device and individual certificate are marked with a unique device number. The certificate contains the following information: the nominal volume, the prescribed tolerance according to UPSP, the actual measured value of this device and the measurement uncertainty.
